Glen private mode

While private mode is on, glen's server refuses to record conversation turns — nothing said in this or any other session is saved to memory until it is turned back off. The block is enforced server-side, so it holds even though the auto-ingest hook keeps firing. Recall keeps working: already-saved memory is still injected, and glen search still answers.

How to toggle

glen private on    # stop recording
glen private off   # resume recording

The command confirms the new state. If it reports a connection problem, follow the login instruction it prints, then retry.

Rules

• Toggle only when the user asks: "off the record", "don't remember this", "stop recording" → glen private on; "back on the record", "you can remember again" → glen private off.
• After toggling, confirm in one short sentence, e.g. "Private mode is on — nothing is being recorded until you say otherwise."
• Private mode stays on until explicitly turned off — it applies to the user's account, not just this session, and never auto-resets. If it is still on when the private topic has clearly ended, ask the user whether to turn it back off.
