VERIFY-REPORT.md to Athena via Zeus.Apollo must produce clean, signal-dense output. Raw terminal output is never acceptable as-is.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Max lines per sensor | 50 lines. If output exceeds 50 lines, keep: first 10 lines, all lines containing error, Error, FAIL, failed, warning (if relevant), and last 5 lines. Add [... N lines truncated ...] marker. |
| Remove decorative output | Strip progress bars, spinners, ANSI color codes, banners, and repeated separator lines. |
| Keep failure location | Always retain file path, line number, and column number for each error (e.g. src/auth.ts:42:8 - error TS2345). |
| Keep exit code | Always record the numeric exit code regardless of pass/fail. |
| Separate stdout and stderr | If a sensor writes errors to stderr, label them clearly; do not mix with stdout. |
When a sensor exits with a non-zero code, map the result to the appropriate class from GLOBAL_RULES.md:
