Getting Started with Economic Mind

Orient the user to what Economic Mind offers through Claude and steer them to the workflow that fits their question. This skill explains and routes — it does not produce a deliverable itself.

What Economic Mind provides

Economic Mind is a research library covering two things:

1. Bottom-up market reports — more than 1,000 industry analyses, with a strong emphasis on the Nordics. Each report defines a market precisely, sizes it from the named players up (not top-down forecasts), lists the leading companies with revenue and an explicit confidence rating, and covers demand and segmentation. Built for market sizing, competitive landscapes, and market-entry work.
2. Company financials — a searchable company index plus yearly profit-and-loss (P&L) figures sourced from national filing registries. Built for company profiles, comps, and benchmarking.

How it works

• Two-step search: market and company questions begin with a search, then fetch the detail. The skills handle this automatically.
• One-time sign-in: the first time you ask something that touches the data, a browser window opens to sign in with your Economic Mind account. This happens once.
• Deliverables: answers come as tables in the chat. Ask for "a CSV" or "a spreadsheet" and a .csv file is written that opens directly in Excel.

How to respond

Briefly explain what Economic Mind covers (markets + company financials), give two or three example questions tailored to what the user seems interested in, and offer to run one. If they have already hinted at a topic (a market or a company), skip the overview and route straight to the matching skill.

Coverage and limits to set expectations

• Market reports: 1,000+, Nordic emphasis. If a market is not covered, explore-markets returns no strong matches — say so rather than inventing one.
• Company financials: best coverage for the Nordics; figures are as reported in national filings and may be sparse for some years.
• Every figure traces to a source. Economic Mind does not guess numbers, and neither should the assistant.
