The highest-converting B2B pages share common traits. Your audit uses those traits as the rubric — not as a checklist to mechanically grade, but as lenses to find the real gaps between what the page says and what the target visitor needs to hear.
Before auditing, make sure you have:
If either is missing, ask once before starting. Audits without a persona become generic, and generic audits are exactly what this skill exists to prevent.
Work in this order. Don't skip steps.
Read the LinkedIn profile (or persona) before the page. Note:
Read the page once as the persona would — fast, skimming, low patience. Note gut reactions: where you'd bounce, what's unclear, what you'd want to know but couldn't find.
For each criterion, write:
Be concrete. "The header is unclear" is not feedback. "The header says 'Solutions for Modern Teams' which doesn't tell a VP of Security what specifically is being sold" is feedback.
For each meaningful gap, propose a specific change. Highlight the recommendation so the edit is obvious:
RECOMMENDATION: Replace the header "Solutions for Modern Teams" with "SOC 2-Ready AI Agent Monitoring for Mid-Market Fintechs" — names the buyer, the problem, and the outcome in one line.
Prefer rewrites over directional advice. "Make the CTA more compelling" is weak; give the new CTA copy.
Structure every audit like this:

If the user gives you copy without a persona, ask for one before auditing. If the persona is too vague to act on ("startup founders," "SMB owners"), ask a sharpening question before generating the audit. A vague persona produces a generic audit — the thing this skill exists to prevent.
