resumer

Automatically resumes a Claude Code task after a rate-limit stop.

What it does:

• Detects StopFailure events caused by rate limits
• Parses the reset time from Claude's message
• Tells the user the task will continue automatically at the reset time
• Sends a continue signal back to the same Claude Code session when the reset time arrives

Install

In Claude Code, add this marketplace:

/plugin marketplace add wong2/claude-plugins

Then install the plugin:

/plugin install resumer@wong2-plugins

After installation, restart Claude Code if prompted.

Notes

• resumer is focused on rate-limit interruptions only.
• The plugin uses Claude Code hooks plus an MCP server defined in the plugin itself.
• The current implementation runs directly from JavaScript source and does not require a build step before use.
