Audit and structure any document against the Pyramid Principle — get rule-by-rule findings, severity ratings, and ranked fixes for existing writing, or generate outlines and answer-first drafts for emails, memos, presentations, and long-form reports.
Use when user asks to audit, critique, review, or diagnose existing writing against the pyramid principle, Minto, MECE, or SCQA. Produces rule-by-rule findings with citations and ranked fixes.
Use when user asks to outline, structure, or restructure a long report, brief, proposal, whitepaper, strategy doc, or research writeup using the pyramid principle. Full nested key-line outline.
Use when user asks to structure, storyline, or outline a presentation, deck, slides, ghost deck, or talk using the pyramid principle. Produces slide-by-slide assertion headlines and key lines.
Use when user asks about pyramid principle, Minto, SCQA, MECE, governing thought, key line, vertical/horizontal logic, or answer-first structure. Canonical rule library for structured communication.
Use when user asks to draft an email, memo, executive summary, one-pager, BLUF, Slack update, or status note using the pyramid principle. Answer-first prose under ~500 words with SCQA and key line.

Barbara Minto's Pyramid Principle as composable skills for professional writing.
This plugin packages the Pyramid Principle as five discrete, composable skills designed to be invoked by larger writing workflows — agents, plugins, or directly by Claude Code. Skills operate in two modes: generative (draft, outline, structure) and evaluative (audit, diagnose, critique). Each skill is independently addressable by external agents using its skill ID, and they share canonical source material through pyramid-principle-core.
| Skill | Role | Example triggers |
|---|---|---|
pyramid-principle-core | Canonical rule library: SCQA, MECE, deduction vs induction, vertical/horizontal logic | "minto", "pyramid principle", "SCQA", "MECE" |
pyramid-short-form | Emails, memos, exec summaries, one-pagers, BLUF notes | "write an email", "exec summary", "draft a memo" |
pyramid-long-form | Reports, briefs, research writeups, multi-section documents | "structure this report", "outline a brief", "write a whitepaper" |
pyramid-presentation | Deck storyline, slide headline hierarchy, data stories | "structure a deck", "slide flow", "ghost deck" |
pyramid-audit | Diagnostic critique of existing content against pyramid rules | "audit this", "review for structural clarity", "is this well-structured?" |
Canonical rules and definitions live in pyramid-principle-core/references/ — a single source of truth for all structural principles. Sibling skills cross-reference this material using the path ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/pyramid-principle-core/references/... so rule definitions are never duplicated. External agents address skills by their skill ID (e.g., pyramid-audit) without needing to know internal file layout. This makes it safe to update rule definitions in one place and have all skills reflect the change.
docs/source-anchors.md holds verified verbatim quotes from Barbara Minto's The Pyramid Principle (2009 revised edition) with exact page citations. Each anchor has a stable ID (e.g., minto-p22-scqa) that skills cite directly, making source grounding visible and auditable without embedding raw quotes in every skill file.
v0.1.2 — composable Codex + Claude packaging. 5 source anchors ship with this version; additional anchors planned for v0.2.

This package now ships an additive Codex plugin surface alongside the existing Claude Code package. The Claude package remains authoritative for Claude behavior; the Codex package adds a parallel .codex-plugin/plugin.json install surface without changing the Claude runtime.
Package root for Codex installs:

./skills when present(none) when presentInstall the package from this package root using your current Codex plugin install flow. The Codex package is additive only: Claude-specific hooks, slash commands, and agent wiring remain unchanged for Claude Code.
npx claudepluginhub tyroneross/rosslabs-ai-toolkit --plugin pyramid-principleCoding Debugger for coding agents with debugging memory, verdict-based retrieval, pattern extraction, root-cause workflows, and parallel domain assessment.
Multi-phase build orchestration with native debugging: assess, plan, execute, review, iterate. Plan-verify gate on Phase 2. Optional UI design gates. Native debug-loop, debugging-memory, and logging-tracer skills provide root-cause investigation without a bundled MCP server. Orchestrator owns when-to-fire; bundled skills own procedural detail; logging-tracer-bridge is an optional escalation hop to the standalone Coding Debugger supporting plugin for extended capability.
End-to-end design tool for AI coding agents — guided UI builds, web/iOS/macOS guidance, visual checks, mockup matching, interaction testing, native scanning, native layout-fill / gap analysis
Map dependencies and analyze blast radius before changing code
Agent Rally Point — repo-local coordination surface for parallel coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini). Records claims, checks write boundaries, routes handoffs, and exposes room state via the rally CLI. Skills: agent-rally-point (per-session loop), rally-workflows (fan-out + dynamic-workflows protocol), mini-loop (per-task quality gate). Advisory-only hooks auto-fire on SessionStart + PreToolUse to surface room awareness and deconflict before edits — never blocks. Backend: rally CLI (cargo install --path crates/rally-cli).
Complete creative writing suite with 10 specialized agents covering the full writing process: research gathering, character development, story architecture, world-building, dialogue coaching, editing/review, outlining, content strategy, believability auditing, and prose style/voice analysis. Includes genre-specific guides, templates, and quality checklists.
A growing collection of Claude-compatible academic workflow bundles. Covers scientific figures, manuscript writing and polishing, reviewer assessment, citation retrieval, data availability, paper reading, literature search, response letters, paper-to-PPTX conversion, and evidence-grounded Chinese invention patent drafting. Rules are organized as reusable skill folders with explicit workflows and quality checks.
