Follow-Up Tracker
Automated email follow-up system for busy founders and executives. Label your sent emails, and this plugin handles the rest — detecting unreplied threads, drafting context-aware follow-ups, and creating morning calendar reminders so nothing falls through the cracks.
What It Does
- Scans Gmail for sent emails you've labeled for follow-up
- Detects whether the recipient replied within your configured window
- Drafts a context-aware follow-up email (saved as a Gmail draft in the same thread)
- Reminds you with a morning calendar event to review and send the draft
- Escalates automatically — a shorter second follow-up if the first goes unanswered
- Marks cold after two unanswered follow-ups, so you stop chasing

Setup
Prerequisites
- Gmail MCP server connected
- Google Calendar MCP server connected
Gmail Labels
Create these three labels in Gmail (Settings → Labels → Create new label):

First Run
Run /setup to walk through configuration — it verifies connections, checks labels, and sets your preferences (reminder time, timezone).
Usage
Flagging emails
After sending an important email, apply one of the follow-up labels:
- Follow Up — check back in 7 days
- Follow Up 3d — check back in 3 days
- Follow Up 14d — check back in 14 days
Automatic scanning
Set up a scheduled task to run the daily scan automatically (recommended: 6:30 AM daily). The scan checks all labeled emails, drafts follow-ups for any past their window, and creates calendar reminders.
Manual scanning
Run /scan-now anytime to trigger an immediate scan.
Checking status
Run /check-follow-ups to see a status report of all tracked emails without triggering any new drafts.
