Wohlig Innovations' internal Claude Code marketplace — packages reusable skills for cloud delivery work.

Currently ships one skill: wohlig-tco — methodology for building Total Cost of Ownership comparisons across cloud platforms.

Installation (three slash commands)

In any Claude Code session, run these in order:

/plugin marketplace add samayyy/wohlig-tco-plugin
/plugin install wohlig-tco@wohlig-tco-plugin
/reload-plugins

1. marketplace add — registers this repo as a plugin marketplace.
2. install — installs the wohlig-tco skill from the marketplace.
3. reload-plugins — activates the skill in the current session (without this you'd need to restart Claude Code).

Once installed, the skill is available in every future session — no need to repeat the install.

After install, browse all available skills any time with:

/plugin browse

Updating

When new methodology refinements land in this repo, pull them with:

/plugin marketplace update wohlig-tco-plugin
/plugin install wohlig-tco@wohlig-tco-plugin
/reload-plugins

wohlig-tco skill

Source/target-agnostic TCO methodology. Walks through 10 phases:

• 0 Engagement scoping
• 1 Inventory normalization (AWS CUR / Azure Cost Mgmt / GCP BigQuery export / RVTools)
• 2 Pricing rates (catalog API + documented rates supplement + spot-checks)
• 3 Service mapping (1:1 / Best-fit / Concept-only / No-equivalent classification)
• 4 Compute architectural-fit (per source/target family translation)
• 5 Per-service translations (Database / Storage / Networking / Operations / Security / Marketplace)
• 6 Unmapped + optimization opportunities
• 7–8 Source and target rollups (service / region / category)
• 9 Comparison + executive summary
• 10 Reconciliation audit (formula-driven OK/FAIL checks)

Output format-agnostic — produces Excel workbooks, Google Sheets, presentation decks, or markdown reports depending on engagement preference.

Adding a new skill

1. Create a new plugin directory: plugins/<new-skill-name>/
2. Add plugins/<new-skill-name>/.claude-plugin/plugin.json (plugin manifest)
3. Add the skill: plugins/<new-skill-name>/skills/<skill>/SKILL.md
4. Add an entry to .claude-plugin/marketplace.json plugins array
5. Commit and push. Colleagues run /plugin marketplace update wohlig-tco-plugin to see it, then /plugin install <new-skill-name>@wohlig-tco-plugin.

Contributing

Methodology refinements, additional translation rules, new platform mappings welcome. Open a PR with:

1. The reference doc edit (or new reference if adding a category).
2. A short note in the PR description explaining what changed and why.
3. If the change is material (new phase, new convention), bump the version in plugins/wohlig-tco/.claude-plugin/plugin.json and the marketplace listing so colleagues know to /plugin install again.
