RudderStack MCP — Claude Code plugin

A Claude Code plugin that registers the hosted RudderStack MCP server so the assistant can debug and manage your RudderStack pipelines.

• Transport: HTTP
• Endpoint: https://mcp.rudderstack.com/mcp
• Auth: OAuth (browser flow on first connect, tokens refresh automatically)

Install

From a Claude Code session:

/plugin marketplace add ~/Code/claude-rudderstack-plugin
/plugin install rudderstack@rudderstack-plugins

Once pushed to GitHub you can swap the local path for the repo URL.

Authenticate

Run /mcp in any Claude Code session, pick rudderstack, and complete the RudderStack OAuth flow in your browser.

Verify

Ask the assistant:

Give me an overview of my RudderStack workspace.

You should see your sources, destinations, and connections.

Troubleshooting

• Tools don't show up: restart Claude Code after install.
• OAuth window doesn't open: trigger the flow again from /mcp.
• "Workspace not found": ask "Show me my available workspaces" and switch.
