SSC Agent Skills
Agent skills for SSC scientific-software workflows, usable from Claude Code, Codex CLI, and any other tool that reads SKILL.md.
Install for Claude Code
During testing, use the personal repository:
/plugin marketplace add lkeegan/skills
/plugin install new-python-project@ssc
Once this repository lives under the SSCIWR organization, use:
/plugin marketplace add ssciwr/skills
/plugin install new-python-project@ssc
The marketplace name is ssc.
Install for Codex CLI
Ask Codex to install the skill from GitHub. During testing:
Install the skill at github.com/lkeegan/skills, path plugins/new-python-project/skills/new-python-project
After the repository is moved to SSCIWR:
Install the skill at github.com/ssciwr/skills, path plugins/new-python-project/skills/new-python-project
Restart Codex after installing a skill.
Install for Other Agents
Any agent that reads SKILL.md files can use these skills. Install the raw skill file into that agent's skills directory. For example, during testing:

Add each skill as a self-contained Claude Code plugin under plugins/<name>/. Each plugin should contain .claude-plugin/plugin.json and one or more skills under skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md.
When adding a skill:
- Add
plugins/<name>/. - Add an entry to
.claude-plugin/marketplace.json. - Keep the skill directory name and
SKILL.mdfrontmatternamealigned. - Bump the plugin
versionwhen releasing updates. - Validate installation with Claude Code and Codex CLI.
