An agent skill that makes generated mongoose code consistent: one canonical, modern idiom set instead of a mix of legacy and current APIs.

What it does

Mongoose 7 removed the callback API that dominates training data, and update paths quietly skip the validators and middleware people expect from save(). This skill pins the canonical modern idioms — single startup connection, schema discipline, lean() reads, { new: true, runValidators: true } updates, ObjectId.equals — and catalogs the silent validation and duplicate-key traps.
