Generates production-ready Etch + AutomaticCSS components with correct BEM naming, ACSS token usage, semantic HTML, and vanilla JavaScript.
Generates BEM-scoped CSS with ACSS custom property references for Etch components. Uses &__/&-- stemming compatible with Etch CSS panel. All design values via ACSS tokens -- zero hardcoded values. Container queries via :has(> &) pattern.
Etch best practices for component generation. Encodes Section > Container hierarchy, AutoBEM naming alignment, container-query responsive approach, and accessibility defaults. Consult this skill before generating any HTML, CSS, or JS for Etch components.
Generates semantic HTML with BEM-only classes for Etch components. Handles element mapping, landmark selection, heading hierarchy, placeholder content, and accessibility attributes. No ACSS utility classes in markup -- all styling goes in CSS.
Generates vanilla ES2020+ JavaScript for interactive Etch components. Uses event delegation, async patterns, and state management classified by interactivity level.
Manages .etch-components/ folder and registry.json. Handles initialization, reading, writing, and updating component metadata. Every command reads the registry before operating and writes back after completing.

Gemini CLI supports skills natively via the .agents/skills/ path. Plugins are not supported — only the embedded SKILL.md files apply.
# Symlink bundled skills from plugins into the Gemini user skills directory
ln -s /path/to/skills/git-master/skills/git-workflow ~/.gemini/skills/git-workflow
ln -s /path/to/skills/git-master/skills/commit-conventions ~/.gemini/skills/commit-conventions
# Or use the ~/.agents/skills/ path (shared with Codex)
ln -s /path/to/skills/git-master/skills/git-workflow ~/.agents/skills/git-workflow
Copy or symlink the skill into your project's local skills folder:
# Inside your project root
mkdir -p .agents/skills
ln -s /path/to/skills/git-master/skills/git-workflow .agents/skills/git-workflow
Commit .agents/skills/ to version control so the whole team shares the same skills.

Codex CLI uses the same .agents/skills/ convention as Gemini CLI, so the same skill files work in both tools.
ln -s /path/to/skills/git-master/skills/git-workflow ~/.agents/skills/git-workflow
