PM Skills for Codex

Codex-first repackaging of the original PM Skills marketplace.

This repository exposes 65 product-management skills as top-level Codex skills in skills/. Each skill is a standalone folder with a SKILL.md file that Codex can load directly after installation.

What Changed

• Flattened the original plugin layout into a direct skills/<skill-name>/ structure for Codex.
• Kept the original pm-*/skills/* source folders in place so updates can still be traced back to the upstream marketplace layout.
• Preserved .claude-plugin/ metadata for provenance, but Codex only needs the top-level skills/ directory.
• Replaced Claude-style placeholder instructions such as $ARGUMENTS with plain, tool-agnostic guidance.

Install into Codex

./scripts/install_codex_skills.sh

This copies the repository's top-level skills/ folders into:

${CODEX_HOME:-$HOME/.codex}/skills

If the generated skills/ directory is missing or stale, the install script refreshes it first.

Refresh the Generated Skills Directory

./scripts/sync_skills.sh

Use this after editing any source skill under pm-*/skills/*.

Notes

• Codex decides when to load a skill based on each skill's frontmatter metadata.
• The generated skills/ directory is the Codex-facing surface of this repo.
• The source directories remain useful if you want to compare against the upstream marketplace packaging.
• Some legacy files under pm-* still document the original Claude plugin packaging; for Codex usage, treat the top-level skills/ directory and the scripts in scripts/ as the source of truth.
