A Claude Code plugin that turns deep-research outputs into a context skill — a cited, LLM-navigable reference repo that itself ships as a Claude Code plugin and routes Claude to the one relevant, sourced section on demand (never loading the whole guide into context).

It encodes the replicable pattern behind agent-harness-best-practices: a pre-joined manifest, stable anchors, self-contained cited sections, a provenance chain, and a CI validator.

The process it automates

The deep-research skill is the engine — it fans out searches, fetches sources, and runs the 3-vote adversarial verification. This plugin runs it per theme and turns its verified report into the context-skill format. (No duplicate verifier — deep-research owns it.)

What's in here

• skills/bootstrap-context-skill/ — the skill that fires when you want to research a topic and package it as a context skill, and routes through the pipeline.
• commands/new-context-skill.md — /new-context-skill <name> [dir] [themes...] to kick off a run.
• hooks/ — a self-gating Stop hook that runs the manifest validator only inside generated context-skill repos (marked by a .context-skill file); silent everywhere else.
• assets/ — the reusable core:
  • research-to-raw-outputs.mjs — maps a saved deep-research report into raw_outputs/ (sources crosswalk, verified-claims ledger, findings digest) and prints a paste-ready index.json sources[] array.
  • playbook.md — the seven LLM-navigability patterns, generalized.
  • pipeline.md — the step-by-step build process.
  • checklist.md — the pre-ship adoption checklist.
  • index.schema.json — JSON Schema for the navigation manifest.
  • template/ — a born-green copyable skeleton (passes the validator out of the box).

Usage

Install as a plugin, then:

/new-context-skill <skill-name> [target-dir] [themes...]

or just tell Claude "research X and package it as a context skill" with the bootstrap-context-skill skill available.
