Reddit Marketing — Claude Code Plugin

A Claude Code plugin that runs value-first, rule-compliant Reddit marketing campaigns through PRAW. Every comment and submission is gated on explicit human approval; the workflow is designed to keep accounts and domains off Reddit's spam filters.

This repo is structured as both a plugin and a single-plugin marketplace, so it installs cleanly through Claude Code's /plugin system.

Install

In Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add andynoodles/reddit-skills
/plugin install reddit-marketing@reddit-skill

What you get

Once installed, the reddit-marketing skill auto-triggers whenever you mention Reddit marketing, posting on Reddit, draft Reddit replies, finding subreddits to promote in, PRAW, etc. From there Claude will:

Analyze your product (URL or .md brief) and propose keywords
Check your Reddit account health and current promo ratio
Search relevant threads, score subreddits, and rank candidates
For each candidate: fetch rules, fetch context, draft a value-first comment with disclosure, and present it for your approval
Post only on explicit per-draft approval, then verify the comment is visible to logged-out users

Prerequisites

uv on your PATH (recommended) or Python 3.10+ with praw, requests, beautifulsoup4
A Reddit script-app's client id, client secret, username, password, and a user-agent string. See reddit-marketing/skills/reddit-marketing/references/auth_setup.md for how to register the app and which environment variables to set.
