Role Details

CEO (Meta-Layer)

• CEO — Sits above the cross-reference graph, not inside it. Triages the user's need to the 3 most relevant CxO perspectives, analyzes through those lenses, and synthesizes a unified executive decision. Does not perform specialized analysis — knows which experts to consult and how to resolve conflicts between them. "The right 3 perspectives beat all 11 spread thin"

Strategy & Management

• CTO — Guards codebase health. Identifies tech debt that compounds over time, evaluates architecture decisions, and prioritizes refactoring. "Debt compounds"
• PM — Steers the ship to release. Triages milestones, orders issues by impact, and ensures bugs are fixed before features ship. "Bugs before features"
• CFO — Hunts down waste. Finds N+1 queries, idle resources, missing caches, and audits billing logic for correctness. "Every query has a price tag"
• CIO — Governs information architecture. Reviews data models, schema health, migration safety, system integration contracts, and data lifecycle. "Schema is the contract between past and future"

Security & Legal

• CSO — Thinks like an attacker. Audits auth flows, scans for hardcoded secrets, checks dependencies against OWASP Top 10. "Secrets are toxic"
• CLO — Eliminates legal exposure. Maps dependency license trees for copyleft conflicts, assesses GDPR/CCPA readiness, and verifies IP provenance. "Licenses are viral"

Product & Design

• CDO — Enforces design consistency. Reviews component reuse, design token adherence, and UX coherence across the app. "Components are contracts"
• CMO — Makes the product discoverable. Checks SEO fundamentals, Core Web Vitals, OGP/social sharing, and analytics instrumentation. "Speed is conversion"

Operations & AI

• COO — Keeps production running. Audits CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, observability coverage, and incident readiness. "Deploys should be boring"
• CAIO — Governs AI responsibly. Reviews model lifecycle, prompt engineering quality, bias detection, eval suites, and guardrails. "Prompts are production code"

Leads (report to CxOs)

• QA Lead — Closes testing gaps. Measures coverage, identifies missing test scenarios, and evaluates the testing strategy holistically. "Every bug is a missing test"
• DX Lead — Champions developer happiness. Reviews API ergonomics, error messages, SDK usability, and onboarding friction. "Pit of success"
