Installation

claude plugin add /path/to/greenfield-start-plugin

Commands

/greenfield-start:init

Gathers project context through conversation and generates:

• README.md — universal project entry point
• CLAUDE.md — single directive to README
• docs/product-brief.md — problem, vision, goals (from your description)
• docs/documentation-philosophy.md — how docs are written and organized
• docs/architecture.md — system overview template (populated if you provide tech decisions)
• docs/requirements.md — requirements template (populated if you provide features)
• docs/roadmap.md — phased roadmap template (populated if you provide phases)
• docs/conventions.md — coding standards template
• docs/decisions/ — architecture decision log (populated if you provide tech decisions)
• docs/guides/ — implementation guides directory

Usage

Minimal — just a description:

/greenfield-start:init
> "A CLI tool that converts spreadsheets to typed API clients"

Extensive — supply background, tech decisions, requirements, roadmap:

/greenfield-start:init
> [paste detailed project context]

You can also run /greenfield-start:init again in a follow-up session to flesh out sections with additional context.
