Claude Code Facilito is a Claude Code plugin that makes Git, PRs, CI/CD, and deployments accessible to non-technical people. It wraps the entire developer workflow into two simple slash commands — all in casual Colombian Spanish.

The Story

My mom needed to make changes to our website (laolibero.com). She doesn't know Git, doesn't know what a PR is, and has never seen a terminal. With this plugin, she types two words and Claude handles the rest.

Commands

/setup — First-time setup

What mom does: types /setup on a fresh computer

What Claude does behind the scenes:

1. Detects OS (Windows, macOS, Linux)
2. Checks what's installed (Git, Node.js, GitHub CLI)
3. Installs missing tools (winget install on Windows, brew install on Mac)
4. Walks through GitHub authentication with browser login
5. Clones the project repo
6. Verifies everything works
7. Says "¡Todo listo parce! Escribe /arrancar para empezar"

What mom does: types /arrancar

What Claude does behind the scenes:

1. Checks for unsaved changes (asks what to do in plain Spanish)
2. Syncs with latest version (git pull --rebase)
3. Asks "¿En qué vas a trabajar?" with friendly options
4. Creates a feature branch automatically
5. Sets up local dev environment
6. Explains the 3 environments: local → preview → production

/listo — Ship it

What mom does: types /listo

What Claude does behind the scenes:

1. Runs quality gates (lint, tests, build) — auto-fixes what it can
2. Asks "¿Qué cambiaste?" with friendly options
3. Creates a conventional commit
4. Pushes and creates a Pull Request
5. Monitors CI/CD checks in real-time
6. Reads bot reviewer comments (Gemini, Copilot)
7. Auto-fixes critical and medium issues
8. Resolves review threads via GraphQL
9. Assigns the repo owner as reviewer
10. Shows a friendly summary with preview URL

Why This Matters

Anthropic's research on AI labor market impacts shows that AI is increasingly capable of augmenting workers across many occupations. Claude Code Facilito is a concrete example: it takes a workflow that requires years of developer experience (Git, PRs, CI/CD, code review) and makes it accessible to anyone who can describe what they want to do in plain language.

This isn't about replacing developers — it's about giving non-technical team members the ability to contribute directly to the codebase with AI as their guide.
